Cookies

As many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies “. Cookies are little text files which are transferred from a website server onto your hard drive. In this way, we automatically collect data, e.g. IP- addresses, used browser, operation system and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transmit viruses onto a computer. By means of information contained in cookies we can make it easier for you to navigate and enable the correct display of our website.

In no case the collected data will be provided to third parties, and no connections to person-related data will be created without your approval.

Of course, in general you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set in a way that they accept cookies. In general, you can deactivate the use of cookies at any time in the settings of your browser. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how to change the settings. Please, note that single functions of our website might not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (in the following: Google). Google Analytics applies so-called “cookies “, i.e. text files which are saved on your computer and enable the analyses of your website usage. The information gained by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. But due to the activation of the IP anonymisation on these websites, the IP- address will be abbreviated by Google for member states of the EU or other states under the contract with the European Economic Area. Only exceptionally, the full IP-address will be transferred to a server of Google in the USA and abbreviated there. On order of the provider of this website, Google will use the information to evaluate your use of the website to compile reports about website activities and to render further services to the website operator connected to the website and Internet use. The IP-address – transferred in the frame of Google Analytics from your browser – will not be amalgamated with other Google data.

The purpose of the data processing is the evaluation of website use and the compilation of reports about activities on the website. On the base of the website and Internet use, further connected services shall be rendered. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the websites provider.

You can prevent storage of cookies by means of an applicable setting of your browser software; however, we want to give notice that, in this case, you might not be able to use all functions of this website to the full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of your data and information about your use of the website (incl. your IP-address) by means of the cookie, as well as the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link:  Browser Add On zur Deaktivierung von Google Analytics.

Additionally, or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can inhibit tracking by Google Analytics on our site by clicking on this link. Thereby, an opt-out cookie is installed on your computer. In this way, data collection by Google Analytics will be prevented for this website and for this browser in future as long as the cookie is installed on your browser.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

To depict our browser contents correctly and graphically appealing in general, we use script libraries and font libraries, e.g. Google Webfonts, on this website (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or blocks the access, contents will be shown in standard font.

The call up of script libraries or font libraries automatically activates a connection to the operator of the library. Hereby, it is theoretically possible – but currently not clear if and for which purpose – operators of applicable libraries collect data.

You can find the data protection guidelines of the library operator Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to depict geographic information visually. During the use of Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the visitors´ use of map functions. You can find further information about the data processing by Google under the  Google data protection hints. You can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection center there.

You can  find here detailed instructions how to administer your own data in regard to Google products.

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites, we have embedded Youtube videos. Operators of the applicable plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to servers of Youtube is created. Youtube will be informed which site you are visiting. If you logged in your Youtube-Account, Youtube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging off your Youtube account beforehand.

When a Youtube video is started, the provider applies cookies to collect hints about the user´s behaviour.

If the storage of cookies for the Google-Ad program is deactivated, one does not have to expect such cookies when watching Youtube. Still, Youtube places user information in other cookies which are not person-related. If you want to prevent this, you should block the storage of cookies in the browser.

Further information about data protection at “Youtube“ can be found in the data protection declaration of the provider under: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Google AdWords

Our website uses the Google conversion tracking. If you have reached our website via an advert published by Google, Google Adwords will place a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion tracking is placed as soon a user clicks on a Google advert. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve for the purpose of personal identification. If a user visits certain sites of our website and the cookie is not expired yet, we and Google can recognize that the user has clicked on the advert and then been forwarded to our site. Each Google AdWords customer gets another cookie. So cookies cannot be tracked by means of other websites of AdWords customers who have decided for conversion tracking. Information gained by conversion cookies are used to create conversion statistics for AdWords. The customers receive information about the total number of users having clicked on your advert and been forwarded to a site with conversion tracking tags. Still you will not get any information to identify users personally.

If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can reject placement of cookies – e.g. per browser setting which deactivates the automatic setting of cookies in general or set your browser in a way that cookies coming from the “googleleadservices.com“ domain will be blocked.

Please keep in mind that you should not delete opt-out cookies as long as you do not want measured data to be recorded. If you have deleted your cookies in the browser, you must activate the applicable opt-out cookie again.

Changes in our data protection regulations

We preserve the right to adjust our data protection so that it will always meet the current legal requirements or to implement changes of our performance in the data protection regulations, e.g. for the implementation of new services. In such a case, the new data protection declaration will be valid from your next following website visit on.
